Cette étude permet de distinguer neuf biozones principales sur la base d'un inventaire détaillé des grands événements paléoclimatiques du Pléistocène supérieur ancien (fin du stade isotopique 5e au stade 4) et de l'Interpléniglaciaire (fin de l'interstade de Moershoofd au complexe interstadiaire d'Hengelo-les Cottés). Cette biozonation constitue la première séquence aussi bien en guerre en Europe du nord-ouest pour cette période et nous indique sur le plan des migrations des Rongeurs en Europe et sur leur paléobiogéographie. Enfin, elle permet une reconstitution paléoenvironnementale très précise avec les données taphonomiques (étude du matériel, la taphonomie du gisement, les modifications dues aux facteurs diagenétiques), la paléoclimatologie du Pléistocène supérieur et les reconstitutions paléoenvironnementales. The paleoecological interpretation of micromammal assemblages allows us to obtain a detailed biostratigraphy of the deposits in the Scladina cave at Sclayn (Namur, Belgium). This study distinguishes nine main biozones based on the main palaeoclimatical events of the early Upper Pleistocene from the end of stage 5e to the beginning of stage 4) and at interpleniglacial period (from the end of Moershoofd interstadial to Hengelo-les Cottés interstadial complex). This biozonation constitutes the first sequence as well in northwestern Europe for this period and informs us about rodent migrations in Europe and their paleobiogeography. Finally, it allows a very precise palaeoenvironmental reconstruction with taphonomic data (study of material, site taphonomy, modifications due to diagenetic factors), Upper Pleistocene paleoclimatology and landscape reconstructions.
