Semantics and Selforganization in Nanoscale Physics

Each complex system interacts with environment, which is changing, and the live of complex system depends on the adaptational possibility of our system. The problem of simulation of condition of guarantee to the adaptational maximum is investigating. It is suggested that the behavior of system with n variables is given to an approximation of m intersecting manifolds, n > m. If the system is considered as a multidimentional generator whereat least a part of variable interact with environment's variables, and if the objective of system is to decrease the functional of discoordination between them, the system control unit has two instruments of influence of the system. First, this is the tuning - the change of underdeterminated coefficients in the structure of the differential equations of system taking account that more is these coefficients the more accurate are the responses of the system to the change of environment. Second, this is the learning - the imposition of new restriction on the systems behavior. The amount of arbitrary coefficients in the structure, of equivalent equations is changing in the process of learning, of consecutive imposition of new and new restrictions on the system behavior. In the systems with the number of variables more than six the amount of arbitrary coefficients increase first and then going through the maximum begin to decrease. This phenomenon permits to explain the processes of growth, complication and death of a system. The existence of adaptational maximum phenomenon is proved by numerous biological, economical and physical-technical systems. We use the linguo-combinatorial method of investigation of the poorly formalized complex system, then we use the key words for creation of equivalent equations. The study of adaptational phenomenon in complex systems permits to increase the adaptational possibility in different systems. This paper discusses utilization of linguo-combinatorial simulation approach for complex systems modeling. When dealing with complex systems one has to consider that conditions and environment are not fully determined. In the course of this paper it is discussed how a poorly formalized system can be efficiently represented and modeled by combinatorial simulation.

The "Time-Loop" Model of Visual Perception

As an introspective observer, we are aware of an outlook from the cockpit of our ego into a spatially extended holistic visual-world representation with simultaneous awareness of all visible parts of the perceived environment. However, the neuronal network transforms spatial extension into temporally extended codes, being registered, e.g., as an oscillatory EEG pattern of successive phases or stages of brain activation. Since the temporal extension of perceptual processing is in a rather fundamental conflict with the internal psychophysics of real-time comprehension of ongoing events, the hypothesis of a "time-loop" model of visual perception is presented in order to handle the contradiction. Thus, the visual signal's recurrent processing is argued to be critically dependent on advanced anticipations of the next input in order to adjust its timing aspects in a way which stabilizes the equilibration of non-linear brain dynamics. In order to account for the coherence e.g. of binocular stereo vision, a synchronous visual flow in both left and right brain hemispheres is needed for. Thus, the temporally delayed information of the both eyes left and right visual hemi-fields, which are processed in different hemi spheres, should be integrated with anticipated versions of their complements in order to close the time gap. Departing from the standard computational approach to anticipation, our "time-loop" model is argued to account for some of the mentioned phenomena by a possible quantum-entanglement effect. From this point of view, the issues of visual processing under discussion may be reinterpreted based on the Wheeler-Feynman ab sorber approach. In line with the hypothesis of a transactional interpretation of quantum brain dynamics, we apply an anticipative resonance coupling approach to aspects of cortical synchronisation and recurrent ideomotor visual action control. In light of our hypothesis, recent findings about so-called mirror neurons in the brain cortex are suggested to be associated with temporal rather than spatial mirror functions of visual processing in phase conjugate adaptive resonance, known from non-linear optics. Therefore, it is proposed to consider the registered coherence patterns of neuronal synfire chains' discharge streams (which should be related to the EEG brain wave patterns of, e.g., evoked potentials after visual stimulation etc.) not only as a result of retarded brain communication processes. Rather they are suggested to be components of a standing waves system. The latter might be generated in the counterbalance of a "time loop" between the actual input's delayed bottom-up data streams and advanced anticipative signals from mirror neurons taking part in top-down recurrent processing.

Fuzzy More-Equal-Less Logic and Closed-Loop Coding-Decoding Control Semantics in Bio-Systems and Nanoinfotechnology

The aim of this paper is to show that informational control in bio-systems is possible only through the use of closed-loop coding-decoding (CL-CD) and that CL-CD is a common feature of all organized systems that induces the birth of semantics. The analysis of the nervous systems research data shows that the coding and decoding procedure uses nota binary logic, but specific logic based on the "more-equal-less" (M-E-L) principle. It is likely that similar coding principle is used in molecular signaling structures (cells and hormonal subsystems of organisms) and that the implementation of this is a kind of nanoinfotechnology. Non-categorical M-E-L logic is similar to fuzzy (Zadeh) logic and may be used for explanation of neurobiological and neuropsychological facts through systemic (holistic) functional organization of the nervous system and of new neuroinformational and nanoinfotechnological ideas.

The Model of Development of Limnology as Informational System

Limnology is young and quite closed field developed by several hundreds of scientists. International Society of Limnologists is holding meetings since 1922. Proceedings of meetings were used to find out principal stages of history of this science (rapid and calm periods). The simulation model of limnology development was built on the basis of such analysis. Every scientist can generate with some probability new ideas and elaborate existing ones. The model includes as parameters the properties of scientists and surroundings (age, experience, level of contacts between scientists, etc). After the model was tuned experiments with different parameters was made. They demonstrate level of contacts influences most strongly on rapidity of the science development.

Nano Science : Science in Transition A Borderline Case

Science is a harsh mistress. Persistently she insists on strict rules when a paper is to be written. Rarely she permits looser regulatives, seldom admits but lightly shirted pensive musings. However, the notions following describe the scientific landscape nano-sciences arise from and are born into in a leisured fashion. Nano-sciences are treated as paradigmatic phenomenon within rapidly changing scientific paradigms, the 'turn' to nano representing a typical example. The name indicates mathematical/ physical origin: a measure used in technology. Scientific base as well as technology application connect 'nano' not only to physical, but also to life systems and life sciences. Nano-sciences mean transdisciplinarity. Scientific investigation faces a borderline attempt. The implications are depicted in their essential qualities.

Dialoguing -Delusion or Physical Reality ?

Both theoretical and recent experimental results show that evolutionary systems are necessarily endowed with anticipatory and holistic properties. As a consequence, the act of dialoguing analyzed through entropy exchanges and interference of noise is doomed to be somewhat delusive. The loophole out of microanatomy complementarity as the actual incommunicable unsplittable, holistic self can be an energy-free, i.e. purely non commutative geometric, approach to its hierarchical dynamics or in a co-evolutionary process involving the dialoguing partners.

Water - Nanoscale to Microscale to Macroscale

This paper deals with frequency and fractal related aspects of coherence in water which link the nanoscale through the microscale to the macroscale with particular reference to possible evidence for nilpotency events. It is based on the concept of domains of coherence in water. It develops work reported in CASYS'01 which showed that the basic arithmetic operations could be performed on frequency imprinted aliquots of water and in CASYS'05 where this was extended to implementation of the basic reversible logic gates. Memory in living systems, DNA and water are considered in respect of possible computer system applications and a nilpotency rule.

The Mind of the Scientist

The mind of the scientist is the prime tool in scientific research. It is however rarely calibrated, which suggests that there is no reliable foundation for the study of science. Individually, scientists learn to use their mind, but only indirectly and incompletely; as conditioned by their education. Few study their mind on its own; thus few make use of its full potential. From the body we can see that life is based in the integration of information and matter. This call for an understanding of physics based on phasics (phase information. The invariance that is sought for in science is not based on matter, but on the phase field by which it is formed. Understanding the mind brings us closest to how this takes place; our body is our best example. This suggests some fundamental new possibilities for science, by not basing it on an erroneous idea of 'objectivity' and 'invariance', but on subjective personal experience of uniqueness in/and creation.

Riemann Hypothesis

A novel approach to a proof of the Riemann Hypothesis (that all the zeros of the Zeta function lie on the line x = 1/2) is presented. It is based on the universal nilpotent computational rewrite system (NUCRS), derived in the World Scientific book Zero to lnfinity, from a single nilpotent Dirac operator (Rowlands, 2007), establishing an entirely novel semantic computational foundation simultaneously for both mathematics and quantum physics. Tangible evidence is that the Zeta function is known to represent a quantum system and that the criterion of nilpotence corresponds to (a) Pauli exclusion with unique fermion states spin 1/2 and (b) an infinite rewrite alphabet that also corresponds to the infinite roots of -1, of which the nilpotent generalization of Dirac' s famous quantum mechanical equation is the universal computational order code.

Non-trivial Time Flows in Anticipation and Action Revealed by Recent Advances in Natural Science, Framed in the Causality Network of Differential Ontology

The article reports some far-reaching results from Chris Illert's research in conchology. Illert discovered that growth of all sea shells follow a universal algorithm. This discovery presupposed a lifting from Euclidean space to a 6D iso-Euclidean space executed by means of hadronic mechanics and the corresponding new mathematics initiated by Santilli. Illert also found that growth of branching sea shells required the existence of non-trivial categories of time with information jumping forward in conventional time, as well as backward from there; this last time category implying the existence of isodual spacetime connected to the antimatter 'universe'. Some other recent advances in theoretical and experimental science with radical implications for the comprehension of time are also reported. These findings are then approached from the differential ontology and causality nexus of our own philosophical informatics, with the aim of comprehending more complex anticipatory systems as integrating more complex 'objective' non-trivial time flows with 'subjective' time flows from the organism's modelling faculty.

Synchronization - The Font of Physical Structure

The computational operation called synchronization, vital for realizing multi-process systems, is described in terms of a Clifford algebra over {-1,0,1}. This provides a two way bridge between the worlds of computation and quantum mechanics, and casts new light on such matters as quantum non-determinism, mechanism and causality, the explicit structure of particles (including dark matter), and the like. We dub this the synchronizational model of quantum mechanics. Oppositely, we show how to represent any computation - sequential or concurrent - in these algebraic terms, thus providing a novel and powerful physically-oriented mathematics for computer science and allied disciplines.

I have long felt that computation is a matter of common sense -English dictionary, sound practical judgement. This paper presented at the British Theoretical Computer Science Colloquium at the University of Warwick in March 24-26, 1986. proposed a definition of common sense as essential element in the solution of the problem of machine intelligence. lt concluded, that common sense is both the deep syntax of natural processes and governs the basic semantics of logical or mathematical language. Then published only as an abstract, I felt it merited inclusion in CASYS 07

Topological Geometrodynamics: an Overall View

A brief summary of the basic ideas of Topological Geometrodynamics (TGD) is given with a special emphasis on the most recent mathematical developments. There are several first principle approaches to quantum TGD. The basic dynamical objects are light-like 3-surfaces which means a generalization of the conformal symmetries of super string models and implies a parton level formulation of quantum TGD as an almost topological quantum field theory with discrete symplectic fusion algebras playing a key role in the formulation of theory. The notion of finite measurement resolution realized in terms of inclusions of hyperfinite factors of type 111 can be also taken as a fondamental dynamical principle. Associativity -in both number theoretical sense and in the sense of conformal field theories -and number theoretical universality stating that the scattering amplitudes make sense in both real and p-adic number fields define further principles of this kind. All these approaches lead to the notion of number theoretical braid meaning discretization at space-time level. The notion of operad is tailor made for formulating the notion of finite measurement resolution and rather precise formulation of generalized Feynman diagrammatics emerges in this framework.

Relativistic Quantum Mechanics from a Single Operator

Relativistic quantum mechanics can now be constructed minimally from a single creation operator with explicit energy, momentum and mass terms. The phase factor, amplitude, spinor structure and vacuum states are all automatic consequences of the initial definition. As separately-defined entities they are completely redundant. The operator can even be reduced to two terms (energy and momentum) if differentiation is defined in a discrete sense. This version of quantum mechanics is also a full quantum field theory, with an automatic incorporation of vacuum and second quantization. Renormalization is, in principle, eliminated by the intrinsic (vacuum) supersymmetry of the fermion and boson structures, while the fundamental interactions of particle physics are consequences of the mathematical structure alone, and do not require any additional 'physical' assumptions.

The Dual Pairing Principle of Quantum State Engineering : Cooper Pairs and Bose-Einstein Condensates

The non-invasive diagnostic protocols of magnetic resonance tomography and spectroscopy have been made effective for the clinical routine by means of the chirality reversing concepts of spin echo and gradient echo. Because Cooper pairs in a spin singlet are formed from time-reversed quantum states, the coadjoint orbit picture of the unitary dual N of the real Heisenberg step 2 nilpotent Lie group N gives rise to the symmetry group SU(2, C) ~ Spin(R3 ). Due to the Hopf fibration of the unit sphere S3 → C C over the Bloch sphere S2 → R C with fiber S1 → C, the compact Lie group SU(2,C) acts via U(l,C) gauge transformations on the complex line bundle associated with N. The metaplectic symmetries of the symplectic spinor bundle configuration, conjugated by indistinguishable pairs of contragredient flat double-layers occurring in the foliation of N, permit a natural approach to the quantum information transfer within pairs of Bose-Einstein condensates.

The Equation of Health Out Body Math/Map of Health and Knowledge

In mathematics it is customary to regard an equation as 'a formula written on paper'. Our living body however also is an equation : it equates the balance between its inner coherence and its context. lts form reflects this equation. This can be understood in a fundamental formal manner. This paper explores the significance of the body diffractal - the series of cellular divisions from the Zygote in forming the integral body. The process spells the Equation of Health: the internal coherence of any cell at any time can always be traced back to its placed in the branched chain reaction of the unfolding Zygote. It also shows how we assimilate and integrate our knowledge of/from our context, and how our options in creation are determined by the interpolation of health and understanding. Although the maths of the map of the integrity is, in principle, simple, some fundamental questions emerge about the mathematical formulations that are needed to be able to describe this.

Empirical Mediation of the Primary Mechanism Initiating Protein Conformation in Prion Propagation

Transmissible prion based spongiform encephalopathies propagate by conformational change of the prion's protein, PrP structure. An experimental design, relying on the utility of a new fundamental teleological action principle inherent in the topological geometry of a covariant polarized Dirac vacuum putatively driving self-organization in all autopoietic complex living systems, is developed to elucidate the fundamental nature of this conformational change. Further, PrP propagation is considered a mechanical action that can be described by 'interactive computational modes' of 'topological switching' driven by incursive oscillations occurring in the bioenergetics of the prions physical chemistry when improperly coupled to the long-range coherence of the noetic action. The experimental apparatus, a multi-level interferometer, is designed to focus this noetic field in a manner that simulates the mechanism driving PrP conformation to pathological form.

Holoinformational Consciousness: An Extension of Interactive Dualism with Anticipatory Parameters

The authors propose a quantum-informational holographic model of brain consciousness-universe interactions based on the holonomic neural networks of Karl Pribram, the holographic quantum theory of David Bohm, and the non-locality property of the quantum field described by Hiroomi Umezawa. We consider this model an extension of the interactive dualism of Sir John Eccles. His ideas of an interconnection between brain and spirit by means of quantum microsites (dendrons and psychons), has deeply influenced the development of our conception of consciousness. We propose a dynamic concept of consciousness, a holoinformational flux interconnecting holonomic informational quantum brain dynamics, with the quantum informational holographic nature of the universe.

Class II mesoionic xanthines such as anhydro-(8-hydroxyalkyl-5-hydroxy-7-oxothia zolo[3,2-a]pyrimidinium hydroxides) are unique, small atomic weight, stable crystalline organic compounds that can be represented as a combination often different resonance structures for each simple xanthine molecule. Each resonance structure contributes a certain percentage to the total resonance of the molecule. This unique resonance represents ten different quantum states of the entire molecule and can thus be exploited as a potential substrate for a ten-qubit register. The number of possible superposition states for such a register in a single molecule is potentially as high as 2' states or (in this case where n = 10) 1,024 complex numbers. In solution the least-unit of this mesoionic crystalline structure is scalable suggesting putative utility for bulk NMR quantum computing. It will be shown that these ten-qubit registers are amenable to standard Deutsch-Jozsa, Shor and Grover algorithms. Additionally, we attempt to formalize VO techniques for our Class II mesoionic xanthines based on a coherent control RF process of cumulative resonant interaction where by utilizing additional degrees of freedom pertinent to a relativistic basis for the qbit (r-qbit) new HD commutation rules allow decoherence to be ontologically overcome

Spinors, Twistors, Quaternions, and the "Spacetime" Torus Topology

The dual torus topology occupies a central role in the spinor, twistor and quaternionic formulation. This topology appears to be ubiquitous in astrophysical and cosmological phenomena and is predicted by the U4 bubble of the affine connection in the Haramein-Rauscher solution to Einstein's field equations. The geometric structure of the complexified Minkowski space is associated with the twistor algebra, spinor calculus, and the SUn groups of the quatemionic formalism. Hence quantum theory and relativity are related mathematically through the dual torus topology. Utilizing the spinor approach, electromagnetic and gravitational metrics are mappable to the twistor algebra, which corresponds to the complexified Minkowski space. Quaternion transformations relate to spin and rotation corresponding to the twistor analysis

The Schrödinger Equation in Complex Minkowski Space, Nonlocality and Anticipatory Systems

We develop a formalism for the Schrôdinger equation in an eight dimensional complex Minkowski space and discuss its relation to the Dirac equation, properties of nonlocality, remote connectedness, Young's double slit experiment, Bell's Theorem, the EPR paradox and anticipatory parameters of spacetime; and also identify an imaginary temporal component as a small nonlinear term and find soliton or solitary wave solutions. These coherent solutions can carry information over long distances, are consistent with Lorentz invariance and appear to provide a fundamental methodology for describing the issue of quantum measurement and a new context for the basis of quantum theory. In the Copenhagen view models of reality are not desirable. However our new approach may enable the redefinition of concepts of reality from a new nonlocal anticipatory quantum theory. Certainly the most desirable consequence of scientific discovery is the ability to redefine our concepts of reality.
